Pink Panda! Tudor Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink'

In early April this year, the Watches and Wonder event had its biggest ever gathering. Just before all the new watch models were shown, Tudor introduced the Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink’, grabbing everyone's attention with its pink panda design. A day before its debut, Tudor announced it as the official watch partner for Inter Miami CF and launched the Black Bay Chrono 'Pink' with a pink dial. The Pink Panda comes with a Jubilee five-link bracelet, marking its first appearance with the Black Bay Chrono.

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink’ combines tradition with a bold challenge to market norms, sparking discussions about men's watches, gender, fashion, and self-expression. Traditionally, pink has been seen as soft and feminine. Tudor's use of pink in the Black Bay Chrono 'Pink' flips this idea on its head, showing bravery, innovation, and style, while encouraging individuality and non-traditional choices.

Tudor understands pink may not be everyone's preferred color, the brand hints that the Pink Panda may be a limited edition by saying “few of them will ever be made." It's believed that the Pink Panda is not intended for long-term production.

In terms of features, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono 'Pink' maintains the design of the original Tudor chronograph. It has a 41mm stainless steel case with a fixed steel bezel and a black speedometer ring, giving it a sporty look. The dial includes a date window at 6 o'clock, a 45-minute stopwatch sub-dial, a stop-second function, and the iconic Tudor diver's watch symbol - the "snowflake" hands. The watch is designed delicately for both racing and diving, with a water resistance of 200 meters and a movement certified by COSC, providing a 70-hour power reserve. The bracelet, idea from Rolex, also making its debut with the Black Bay Chrono.

The bracelet features a five-section micro-adjustment, an 8mm-long Tudor T-fit clasp, and ceramic ball bearings, ensuring smooth opening and closing and allowing for tool-free adjustment of length.
